The SCRAPBOOK

We've acquired three two-ring binders, about an inch thick, containing a marvelous assortment of graphics and associated articles. Unfortunately the scissors have taken their toll. There are partial relevent articles on the reverse of most photos.

The available text is in JPEG format @ 72 dpi. Text alterations (positioning) are minimal. No content has been altered.

The Scrapbook consists totally of scanned documentd in JEPG format. On slower connections this is problematic, but we feel it is the best way to represent this precious material. - Make your own scrapbook!

These appear to be magazine and newspaper prints with no apparent chronological order. Ours is alphabetical.

We have found one reference to Model Airplane News - October 1951.
Model Airplane News exists, and has been repeatedly contacted for support, with no response to date.

We have found 5 more scrapbooks at a yard sale. (10" x 14" x 1-1/4" thick, double-sided pages) The pages literally crumble when touched.

After a very brief and delicate review... They seem to be newspaper (cartoon) format both War & Post-War.

Producing these will be a prolonged process due to the fragility and time splicing the scans.

The size of the files (as a SWAG) will be in the neighborhood of 450 Mb - 600 Mb and 72 dpi JPEGs.

Perhaps we can put samples up for you and offer a CD ROM with the entire collection.
